Dorothy M. Pernell, age 87, died Thursday, June 25, 2020 at The Lodge in Rocky Mount, NC. She was preceded in death by her parents, Henry May Evans and Penniah Harris Evans, her husband, Charles Pernell, her son, Marvin Richardson and her daughter, Joyce Roshell Richardson.
Rev. Linwood Richardson will conduct graveside services at 12:00 pm on Friday, July 3rd at the Faith Baptist Church Cemetery.
Mrs. Pernell is survived by her children, Tony Richardson (wife, Jean), Brenda Lee (husband, Allen), Cynthia Davis (husband, Melvin),Garry Richardson and Parlishia Everett (husband, Rev. Everett); sisters and brothers, Lonzie Evans, Alease Silver, Beatrice Richardson, Ora Jeffries, Roxie Lynch, Deloris Lynch, Morris Evans, Wallace Evans, Ulysses Evans, Stanley Evans, Roger Evans and Annette Hedgepeth; twenty six grandchildren, eighty great grandchildren and four great- great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM to 4:30 PM on Thursday, July 2nd at Blaylock Funeral Home of Littleton.
